I learned of Rama's Candles via a simple Google search and I'm so glad I found this gem of a place. The owner, Shawn, is such a kind and wonderful person. I am a complete rookie to candle making and wanted to try it for a long time. I looked up several candle store sites and they seemed expensive and impersonal. I contacted Shawn last week and he was professional in setting up a time for me to come check on the goods I could buy to start making them. When I told him, I was mainly starting this as a hobby and the only knowledge I have is through YouTube videos, he was nice enough to tell me he's explain the process to me. When I met him on a Saturday morning, he spent a good 20-25 minutes just teaching me the art of candle making. He's a very good teacher and explained everything in a simple manner step-by-step. I loved that he gave me some tips as well on some other items I could buy without breaking the bank. He went above and beyond in providing an info sheet on the process to me, explaining in detail what quantities, etc. I can use to make the candles. He also gave me some free candle holder clips he's personally made which was such a nice touch. I'd recommend this local business to anyone new or advanced in their candle making journey!
